The Reiki Certification Path

Reiki Level I: Self Healing

  • Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Level I is a one-day certification class where you are attuned to the Reiki energy so you are able to channel it whenever you need.

    Upon completion of the class, you will be able to give Reiki treatments to yourself.

    In this training you will learn:

    • The nature of Reiki energy

    • The Reiki Ideals

    • The complete hand placement system

    • Giving Reiki to yourself

    • Gassho meditation

    • Byosen Scanning: Using the sensitivity in the hands to locate areas needing healing, (usually in the aura) and to treat them

    • Reiji-Ho: Using inner guidance to know how and where to treat

    • Kenyoku: Dry bathing, a method to purify your energy field

    • Introduction to Intuition in energy work and the clairsenses

  • 1-day training and certification

  • $150 for the 1-day Certification Training (or Reiki I + II Bundle for $550)

Reiki Level II: Treating Others

  • Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Level II is a one-day certification class where you are attuned to two additional Reiki symbols that allow you to channel the energy for others.

    Upon completion of the class, you will be able to deepen your own self healing practice, give Reiki to others and imbue objects with Reiki.

    In this training you will learn:

    • Reiki II symbols: How to draw, activate and use them. Their many uses are explained and their inner meaning is discussed.

    • Practice time is given so students know from experience how the energy of each symbols feels and the results each symbol produces

    • Sending Reiki at a distance

    • Gyoshi-ho: Sending Reiki with the eyes

    • Koki-ho: Using the breath to heal

    • How to imbue Reiki into objects

    • Deeper training on Intuition in energy work and the clairsenses

  • To qualify to take this class a student must have taken Reiki I (many students choose to do these two trainings together as a bundle as they are scheduled back to back in a weekend).

  • 1-day training and certification

  • $450 for the 1-day Certification Training (or Reiki I + II Bundle for $550)

Reiki Master: Expert Healing

  • Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master is a 3-day certification class where you are attuned to Master-level Reiki symbols that allow you deepen your abilities to heal and access your own intuitive gifts.

    Upon completion of the class, you will be able to utilize expert-level healing symbols and tools, experience deep healing yourself, and find confidence in moving forward to certify others if you choose.

    In this training you will learn:

    • The Usui Master attunement which increases the strength of your Reiki energy

    • The Usui Master symbol which increases the effectiveness of the Reiki II symbols and can be used for healing

    • Practice using the Usui master symbol

    • Reiki meditation that strengthens the mind and expands consciousness

    • The use of crystals and stones with Reiki

    • How to make a Reiki grid that will continue to send Reiki to yourself and others after it is charged

    • The Holy Love experience in which Divine Love is placed in your heart

    • The complete Reiki III Usui/Holy Fire III Master ignition

    • Instruction on how to give Reiki attunements for Reiki I&II and Reiki Master

    • The Healing attunement that can be given to anyone and directs the powerful attunement energies to heal

    • The Usui/Holy Fire III system of attunements and ignitions

    • How to give yourself attunements and ignitions

    • The values and spiritual orientation of a true Reiki Master

  • To qualify to take this class a student must have taken Reiki I & II at least 6 months prior to the class.

  • 3-day training and certification

  • $1,375 for the 3-day Certification Training

 Reiki Certification FAQs

  • For most, Reiki finds them and a curiosity sparks from the moment you hear about it or receive a healing for the first time. Typically we find our clients are interested in being able to use Reiki energy healing in their our growth journey, to help close friends or family, to build an energy healing business, or to deepen their own intuition and energy work. We always encourage you to follow your calling if you feel this is for you! Reiki is for everyone, and can have profound effects on your own health and nervous system, as well as trickle out to all aspects of your life including family, career, creative endeavors and other relationships.

  • There is no pre-requisite for Reiki Level I! Anyone can join this level, and all that is asked is to come with an open mind. Some clients like to receive a 1:1 energy healing session prior to certification.

    For Reiki Level II, you must have taken Reiki Level I. We offer these classes back to back in one weekend, so many clients choose to do the Bundle with both levels in one weekend.

    For Reiki Master Level, you must have been certified in Reiki I + II for a minimum of 6 months, and it is requested that you utilize the energy healing techniques during that time to develop your connect to the Reiki energy before beginning the Master training.

  • That is TOTALLY okay! We have many clients who go through one or all of the Certifications who do not want to create an energy healing business. For these clients, the trainings, practices, and healing attunements serve as a way to deeply connect to themselves and their own growth. It can certainly be a profound personal path with many benefits, without needing it to become a business.

  • There is some training at the Reiki Master Level that will prepare you to teach and attune others to the Reiki energy. Aside from that, we do offer add-ons for business coaching and support with Modern Energy Wellness Founder Kati VanLoo at the Reiki II and Master Levels that can be added on and completed within the following months of becoming certified. In your registration form, you’ll be asked if you’d like to add these to your certification, and we will reach out to you with more info about how to book these sessions.

  • Of course! You can schedule a 10-minute complimentary Certification Consultation with Kati here before you register.

  • You will receive your Certification upon completion of the class, with a digital version emailed to you the following week and a printed copy mailed to you within several weeks.

  • After your Reiki I and Reiki II certification trainings, you will have resources for a 21-day practice to help integrate the deep healing you experience while in class. You will have the option to book additional types of support, including 1:1 sessions with Kati as you explore your own journey with Reiki.

    Following Reiki II, you can begin to work with others, either as a paid business or with friends and loved ones. You will have the option to book additional types of support, including 1:1 sessions with Kati as you explore sharing Reiki with others and/or building your energy healing business.

    Following Reiki Master training, you can begin to hold trainings and certify others in Reiki energy as well if you choose. You will have the option to book additional types of support, including 1:1 sessions with Kati as you explore these deeper levels of energy healing and intuition, and/or for building your energy healing business.

  • We always encourage you to follow your inner guidance when it comes to choosing your Reiki Teacher, and pick the one that resonates best with you.
